The nomadic tribal communities of India have often been ignored and marginalised by mainstream media and public policy landscape despite being strong upholders of culture. Their simple lifestyles shaped by dynamic traditions have suffered in the Pandemic, as mobility-centric administration restrictions couldn’t allow their ‘crowd pulling acts’ in tight rope walking, dholak and damiru performances etc.. that were once the centre of attraction.
